This position is primarily responsible for growing sales in the region. These duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Supports, demonstrates and promotes the philosophy and company mission of Eco-Products
Contact new distributors with the goal of having them purchase our line
Grow current distributor business in the Region through training, ride-alongs, and new product introductions
Assist National Sales Manager to grow National Account business that may be head-quartered in the Northeastern region
Forecast current customer product needs
Responds to any and all current customer needs
Generates any literature or marketing materials customers may need to add value to our products
Participates in other as-needed customer service and sales support activities
Perform other duties as appropriate
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree from an accredited university preferred
3-5 years of previous foodservice industry experience necessary
Three or more years of regional sales management experience for a medium sized company
Proven interest and demonstrated past involvement in environmentally. responsible causes, issue and organizations
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Professional appearance
· Detail oriented with a willingness to adapt and be flexible in a growing company
· Proven organizational skills with an eye for details
· Ability to build strong relationships along with excellent customer service skills and the genuine desire to go the extra mile for the customer
· Interest and experience in software applications useful to job professionalism. Including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, ACT Prospect and Customer Management System, and Design Software.
· Must be willing and able to lift boxes
