Job Summary

 

The main objective of this position is to develop the annual internal and external sales program for the Retail Product Group and to implement such plan. Ensures sales goals set forth by the Company are met or exceeded.

 

Reports To     Vice President of Sales & Marketing

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

 

  • Maintains excellent level of communication and service with customers, vendors, and internal and external Eco-Products’ teams.
  • Recommends sales strategies for the Company and is instrumental in developing effective and efficient internal processes to maintain high level of sales.
  • This is a management position responsible for the hiring, training and supervision of the Sales team.
  • Drives the sales of the company by forecasting sales projections and achieving those projections
  • Recommends sales strategies for the Company and is instrumental in developing effective and efficient internal processes to maintain high level of sales.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to plan and execute all marketing/sales materials as well as tradeshows.
  • Responsible for forecast/allocation process.
  • Overseas the Sales Coordinator’s department and ensures that orders are processed effectively and professionally.
  • Responsible for maintaining the margins designated by the VP of Operations, President and Board of Directors.
  • This is a management position responsible for the hiring, training and supervision of the Sales team.
  • Perform other duties as appropriate

 

Qualifications

 

1.      Undergraduate degree from an accredited university.

2.      Proven interest and demonstrated past involvement in environmentally responsible causes, issue and organizations.

3.      8-10 years in an inside or outside sales position and three or more years managing a national sales force for a medium sized company.

4.      8-10 years in the retail foodservice industry with an understanding of how distribution channels, national accounts, and large retailers function.

5.      Experience developing and managing incentive-based compensation programs for a regional sales force and broker network.

6.      Interest and experience in software applications useful to job professionalism. Including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, ACT Prospect and Customer Management System, and Design Software.

7.      Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

8.      Professional appearance.

·         Proven organizational skills with an eye for details.
