Essential
Duties/Responsibilities
The
Financial Manager/Controller will provide leadership and coordination of company
financial planning, debt financing, and budget management functions. Ensure
company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting
principles.
Typical work activities:

Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management
functions;

Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance
of departments;

Partner with Product and Operations managers on monitoring and analyzing
monthly operating results against budget;
-
Manage the preparation of the official annual report of actual revenues,
transfers, and expenses;
-
Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts;
-
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting
requirements;
-
Partner with Product and Operations managers and company owner to develop
five year and ten year business plans for the company;

Partner with Product and Operations managers to establish and implement
short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and
operating procedures;
-
Partner with Product and Operations managers to design, establish, and
maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish
the department's goals and objectives;

Partner with Product and Financial managers on planning and policy-making;
-
Serve as primary legislative liaison relative to company financial issues;
-
Oversee financial management of foreign operations to include developing
financial and budget policies and procedures;

Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural
improvements;
-
Supervising other staff - bookkeeper, AP, logistics
-
MOD as well on the sales floor
Reports To

Qualifications
-
Two or more years of Accounting work in a small to medium sized-company;
preferably retail experience.

Proven interest and demonstrated past involvement in environmentally
responsible causes, issues and organizations.

Undergraduate degree from accredited university required.

Proven organizational skills.

Interest and experience in software applications useful to job
professionalism. Including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel,
various accounting software.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
-
Professional appearance.
