Come see us at the Northeast Recycling Council Conference

We could talk about food scraps, composting, and packaging all day long, so we can’t wait to participate in the Northeast Recycling Council’s 2021 Fall Conference, October 12-14.
Non-Profit organization spanning an 11-state region with programs that emphasize:
- Source Reduction
- Reuse
- Recycling
- Composting
- Environmentally preferable purchasing
- Decreasing the toxicity of the solid waste stream
On the Horizon: Reuse, Solar, Soil & Justice will focus on topics such as composting, recycling, environmental justice law, recycling solar panels, and more.
Our Sustainability Maven, David Fridland, will moderate the “Front of House Food Scraps & Compostable Packaging” panel – and our Product and Zero Waste Specialist for the Northeast, Toby Alves, will speak on the panel. The other panelists will be Wendell Simonson from the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI), Debra Darby from TetraTech, and Conor Miller from Black Earth Composting.
