Go Buffs! Get to Zero!

We know it seems a little strange to cheer for a team to get to zero, but as a Sustainability Partner for the University of Colorado Boulder, Zero Waste is the ultimate goal. Eco-Products is proud to partner again with CU Boulder for the 2022-2023 football and basketball seasons.
As Zero Waste pioneers, the university founded NCAA’s first Division 1 sustainable athletics program, Ralphie’s Green Stampede (RGS), in 2008. Since then, the program has established a Zero Waste program in all athletic venues, as well as zero net carbon emissions in all athletic facilities.
RGS is a sports sustainability partnership, with many stakeholders to make it successful. Students can volunteer to participate as Zero Waste Goalies at the games to educate fans on what to do with their waste both in and out of the stadium. In 2019 the RGS team helped Folsom Field achieve a waste diversion rate of 86.3%

As trusted partners of Folsom Field since 2010 and Franklin Field Zero Waste Tailgate Zone since 2016, we are working to shift how we think about waste and scale Zero Waste practices and composting infrastructure.
