Meet Bonsucro’s Newest Member (Spoiler alert, it’s us!)

If you’ve read our Sustainability Reports over the last few years, you’ll know that obtaining beginning-of-life certifications on the top five raw materials we use to make our products is one our goals to achieve by 2022. We make many of our products out of sugarcane, so we are proud to announce our membership with Bonsucro.

Bonsucro is a global non-profit organization that exists to promote sustainable sugarcane production, processing and trade around the world. They support a community of over 250 members around the world, from all elements of the sugarcane supply chain, including, farmers, millers, traders, buyers, end users, and support organizations.

Bonsucro’s vision is a sugarcane sector with thriving, sustainable producer communities and resilient, assured supply chains. Their mission is to ensure that responsible sugarcane production creates lasting value for the people, communities, businesses, economies and eco-systems in all cane-growing origins. Their strategy builds a platform to accelerate change for the largest agricultural commodity in the world – sugarcane.
