We’re not going to lie. Pulling off a truly zero waste event isn’t always easy. A lot of factors need to be considered, from controlling the materials at the event, to bins and signs, to staff training, to finding a home for the recyclables and compostables. Fortunately we are passionate about this stuff and are ready and willing to help our customers get there.
Check out the Zero Waste Report (PDF) we created for the McDowell Mountain Music Festival, a festival in Phoenix that’s committed to reducing its impact. We weren’t content with merely selling them compostable foodservice packaging. We want to see them achieve their zero waste goal, so we created this report with specific guidance on how to make it happen.
