New Product & Zero Waste Specialist – Jenny Slepian

Please welcome our newest member of the Product & Zero Waste Specialist team! Jenny Slepian is joining our dynamic PZWS team as our regional expert for the Pacific Northwest.
Jenny joins Eco-Products after six years working in local government as a Sustainability Analyst for Lake Oswego, Oregon. Much of that time was spent in the solid waste field, working with haulers on setting up new programs for curbside and commercial composting, serving on the Metro Council’s Regional Waste Advisory Committee and doing a lot of public outreach answering questions like “Can pizza boxes go in my compost?”
Jenny also participated in many roundtables around Oregon’s new extended producer responsibility (EPR) legislation. She has enjoyed building relationships with Pacific Northwest haulers and policy makers over the years and is looking forward to focusing more on the world of compostables.
