Sundrip

This first of its kind raw, vegan, grab & go restaurant opened in July of 2020 in Chicago, Illinois. Sundrip is an African American family-owned restaurant that offers meat and dairy free options. The goal is to make delicious, healthy dining decisions more convenient and sustainable.

• The 1,131 square foot space has no seats and all meals are served in compostable packaging. Sundrip’s commitment to the environment and Zero Waste sets them apart from other concepts. They provide online resources about composting and customers may even bring their packaging back to the restaurant to be composted. The company hopes to expand to provide “Uncooked hubs” in office buildings around the Windy City and has just opened a second location in the Bucktown neighborhood. 
• Eco-Products worked closely with the Hode Group broker team and Edward Don to provide a full line-up of to-go packaging, including various size noodle & coupe bowls, lids, hot cups, straws, and cutlery. Our Product and Zero Waste Specialist worked extensively to connect them with a local hauler, and to provide custom bin signage as well as educational resources on recycling and composting to include on their website for customers.
