Our Cutlery Makes The Cut

In 2009, a composter in Vermont was so fed up with all of the non-compostable cutlery showing up at their facility that they enacted a compostable cutlery ban, meaning that they would not accept cutlery of any kind regardless of what certifications it carried. Fast forward 4 years to September 2013, and Green Mountain Compost (GMC) decided to run some tests in an effort to determine which cutlery would break down in their facility and which cutlery would not.
