We have great industry partners that we work with at Eco-Products®, so in the coming weeks we will be talking about them in the Dish. We hope that you will gain a greater appreciation for these awesome groups and a better understanding for why we work with each of them.
The Biodegradable Products Institute: Certifying Body and So Much More
You are probably familiar with the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) as the certifying body for compostable packaging in North America. While this is certainly true, they are that and so much more. BPI actually has three pillars that they focus on as an organization – Certification, Education, and Advocacy.

As you can see, BPI is working hard to advance Zero Waste and create the circular economy of the future. Eco-Products is proud to be a member with a wide range of certified products. We are also involved in their various education and advocacy focused initiatives. Our VP of Product Development serves on the board for BPI and recently ended his term as President of the board, and our Sustainability Maven helps out on multiple working committees.
BPI has long been the gold standard in certification and we are excited to be a part of this hard working organization.
