Regarding Freezing and We’re Not Talking About the Weather

Have you ever been asked if our containers could be used for storage in the freezer? Below are our preferred answers for each type of product.
Paper and Sugarcane:
Paper and Sugarcane products can go in the freezer, although they are not airtight, so freshness and freezer burn may become issues if left there for too long.
Ingeo™ Bioplastic:
Ingeo™ can become brittle when frozen, so we don’t recommend putting these products in the freezer.
Plastic – RPET and Polystyrene:
Plastic can become brittle when frozen, so we don’t recommend putting these products in the freezer.
