Sysco Celebrates their EV Fleet with Zero Waste Event

Sysco achieved a waste diversion rate of 96% at their Zero Waste event celebrating the arrival of 10 new heavy-duty electric tractors to its fleet in Houston on May 14.
They achieved that high rate with no contamination thanks to attention to detail on procuring the right products and messaging at the event.
Eco-Products provided compostable foodservice products for the event, organized compost bins with signage, and arranged for Moonshot Compost to provide the composting services.
Sysco continues to grow their EV fleet. With additional arrivals expected mid-2024, the total number of Sysco EVs will exceed 130.
