Two Products Honored at QSR/FPI Foodservice Packaging Awards

Eco-Products® was the only company to be honored with prestigious awards for two separate innovative products in this year’s QSR/FPI Foodservice Packaging Awards competition.
Eco-Products’ WorldView™ Grip & Dip™ Snack Cup earned first place in the Innovation in Manufacturing category. Our WorldView™ Three-Compartment Take-Out Container (aka Taco Tray) earned runner-up honors for Innovation in Convenience.
The results were announced by QSR Magazine and Foodservice Packaging Institute yesterday and published in QSR Magazine, print and online.
Judge’s Comment for Grip & Dip:
“As molded fiber competes with other materials, especially plastics, physical design innovations may be needed. This kind of shape—which takes into account the needs of foodservice operators and their customers—has been difficult to capture in molded fiber until now.”
Judge’s Comment for Taco Tray:
“The Taco Tray covers all the bases. It is highly functional, visually pleasing, enhances appetite appeal, and has strong sustainability benefits.”
