Colorado Sunshine Converted to Energy!

As described in our annual sustainability report, we set goals every year to raise the bar and walk the talk when it comes to being green. As of August 20, 2019, our headquarters in Boulder has some spiffy new solar panels! This is in addition to panels that have been there for years. Why add more, you ask? In pursuit of Net Zero electricity, of course!
We have been in pursuit of Net Zero electricity for a few years as a lofty, but achievable, sustainability goal. In 2018, we generated 70% of the electricity that we needed with the solar panels on our roof. In order to get to our goal of 100%, we installed LED lights and higher efficiency heating and cooling units last year. And, this year, we put additional solar panels on. These changes should get us to our Net Zero electricity goal.
