Green Glove Recipient in World Series, Woo Hoo!

The gloves will certainly come off during the World Series, but win or lose the San Francisco Giants will still have their Green Glove award to be extra proud of. In 2013, the Giants achieved a recycling rate of 86%, which is downright amazing for a venue that hosts over 60 games a year. This feat earned them their sixth MLB Green Glove award, which is given to the major league ballpark with the highest recycling rate (including organics recycling, which is another way to say composting). We’re proud to supply some of the compostable products used at AT&T park and salute the Giants for their efforts.
