Our new Sustainability Maven!

Please welcome our new Sustainability Maven Megan Jorgensen. Megan has a wealth of experience in the sustainability field. She began her career at Snooze A.M. Eatery as Sustainability Manager where she led the organization to create a responsible sourcing program and a supplier code of conduct. She developed and managed sustainability metrics for 37 restaurants in four states and was successful in achieving a 90% waste diversion rate. Recently she was promoted to Director of Safety, Sustainability and Procurement at the Denver Zoo.

In her role at Eco-Products, she will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sustainability strategy including the creation of our sustainability report and metrics but also contribute to environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts across the organization. She will support the Product & Zero Waste Specialist team’s efforts in the field to scale waste diversion practices for our customers and partners and help build infrastructure across the US.

Megan lives in Golden, Colorado with her family including two young boys. In her non-work time they enjoy nature and outdoor mountain activities including skiing, camping, biking and gardening. You’ll also find Megan enjoying live music or being a food and wine enthusiast at some favorite local restaurants.

Megan has been and continues to be a big supporter of our products and work and is excited to join the organization.
