A Zero Waste US Foods Immersion Event

Our Regional Sales Manager in the Ohio Valley, Nicole Geletka, and Product & Zero Waste Specialist, Toby Alves, recently attended the US Foods Immersion Event at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland. All vendors at the event used Eco-Products and with the help of composter, Rust Belt Riders, 1.25 cubic yards of food scraps and product were sent to the compost pile. The Center is also home to an onsite farm, The Real Farmville – produce scraps from the event even fed some pigs!
